1.2.1 HEALTH PROFILE – APAC MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
Located the main building of Apac Municipal Council headquarters in Biashara Cell, Akere Division
There are three HC IIs, Biashara HC II, Apac Prison HC II, and Apac Central Polic HC II.
Biashara HC II under MOH
Apac prison HC II and Apac Central Police HC II are under Ministry of internal Affairs
Staffing
Biashara HC II has 7 staffs out of 9 as per the structure; missing ones are an Askari and a Nursing Assistant.
Municipal Health Office, Senior Environmental Health Officer and a Health Educator, there is a vacancy for Principal Medical Officer
Division health staffing,
Atik Division has two health workers, a HI and HA, Arocha Division has a HA, Akere Division has no HA and Agulu Division has a HA

There is need to have in every division a HI and HA for ease of work.
There is a garbage dumping site for the management of garbage located Akere cell in Akere Division
There is a feacal sludge treatment plant for the management of excreta located in Aminteng Cell in Agulu division
There are 7 public latrines located in Arocha Auction, Taxi park, Agulu Market, Apac Hospital Gate, Camcao Market mayors garden two blocks for both sexes.
There are 8 immunization stations, one is static and seven are outreaches.

We have one sound NGO- GIZ a partner in urban sanitation promotion giving us a lot of support in sanitation management for both solid and liquid wastes.
Support staffs
There are 26 members, who carry out the work of cleaning and garbage collection, they are distributed all over the four divisions.
There are two garbage vehicles for garbage collection, one tractor and a tipper truck
