Apac Municipal Council, Department of community services on the disbursed national grants for persons with disability worth 24m to 5 disable groups across the 4 divisions of Agulu, Atik, Akere and Arocha respectively. The community Development Officer incharge disability and older persons, Mr Apel nelson advised the care givers to utilize this funds for the intended purposes as in the groups objectives for societal transformation of the livelihoods of these vulnerable persons. And this event was witnessed by the Asst. RDC-Apac, Mr Okot Jona, Deputy Mayor,Hon.Ocen Bernard.
The groups that benefited includes:-
- Kica Arwot Piggery Disabled Group –Arocha Division.
- Obanga beo disabled Poultry keeping group-Agulu Division.
- Angayiki ‘B’ disabled Piggery group- Akere Division.
- Baraayom disabled Piggery group-Akere Division.
- Market Street disability poultry group –Atik Division.
