BENCH MARKING WORKSHOP AND EXPERIENCE SHARING BY  APAC MUNICIPAL COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF FINANCE,PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION AT LIRA CITY EAST DIVISION.

Apac municipal council  committee of finance,Planning & administration led by the Deputy town clerk,Mr. Odiambo David  on the 18th -03-2026 had a one day bench marking  tour of their counter part of lira city east Division for bench marking and experience sharing on Revenue Mobilization, collection and  Management and as such Solid waste management.

The Deputy Town Clerk city east  Division,Mr. Komakech Emmanuel  in his opening remarks thanked  the Apac municipal council team for  honoring and choosing city east division for the bench marking exercise and re-iterated that the experience shared  is to be utilized appropriately for revenue and solid waste  management and Apac municipal council was  the 12th municipal council  in bench marking visit to lira city east division among other municipalities.

Ms.Acio Judith, the Revenue Officer in her presentation on property taxs highlighted key strategies to be implored to ensure proper revenue management and a such challenges faced by the revenue collectors which requires resilience,dedication and team work in order to achieve the strategic goals as revenue is for national development.

Ms.Susan Among,the Health Inspector lira  city east division in her presentation highlighted several mechanisms  undertaken  by the city east division to ensure appropriate solid waste  management for  a habitable city.
